Keep Calm and Eat Brownie !

Andrew & I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year.  I write this just hours after the recent Lockdown announcement and I am sure that for many of you these next couple days will be spent working out your ‘new normal’.  Plans will need to be created and arrangements made to see you and your family through this next period of time.  We would like to offer you some encouragement at this time.  We think one of the amazing lessons we learnt in 2020 is an understanding of just how resilient we all are and how good we are at adapting to changes.
So, we would like to start this year by send our blessings and prayers to you all, knowing that as we all move forward, there is still hope - and may we suggest “Keep Calm and Eat Brownie!"
This week we have turned our ovens back on, our team is set and ready to bake delicious brownies to be posted out across the U.K in order to create special moments of joy.
We are very much looking forward to releasing our ‘Love’ range in a couple of weeks time.  This range is created, not only to celebrate Valentine's day, but also to celebrate love, which is the biggest gift we can share with our friends, families, neighbours and community.
We also have plans in the pipeline to be able to offer gluten free brownies in our range.  This has been made possible as a result of expanding our commercial kitchens.  We have always said that until we were able to run with a ‘clean kitchen,' to ensure no cross contamination, we would not offer gluten free products.  It's now our hope that, once we have completed the kitchen set up and road tested our recipes again, we will be able to offer this option online in early spring.
A few things I am loving this week :

I will be honest I went down the instagram rabbit hole one evening and am delighted to say that I fell upon this company.  I am always drawn to feeds that are bright, colourful and promise something different in the world of artisan foods.  I ordered a selection in December, and I have to say, the sweets exceeded my expectations. These sweets are not only a delight to the eye, from gorgeous tins they arrive in, to the rainbow of colours when you open the sweets.
Then I sampled a sweet and I was blown away with the flavour.  I love a product that when it exclaims to be a certain flavour it follows through.  You can tell as you savour each sweet that only the very best ingredients have been used.  They are so full of flavour, that unlike other sweets,  I indulge in each one as a treat at the end of my day.
Lavinia, the company owner,  is on a mission to bring us the finest sweets from artisan candymakers, beautifully packaged for an extraordinary gift experience.  In my opinion she has done just that and I will be ordering regularly.  Please take a look at her website www.lavolio.com if you are looking to treat yourself.

Co-Founders Kate and Anna are a creative mother and daughter team who create the most beautiful, handmade hair accessories for all generations, using Liberty of London prints.  I found them on instagram and loved how their feed brings joy and colour to my day. My daughter treated me for my birthday to a beautiful headband, knowing that I had been saving my favourite designs on Insta to treat myself one day soon!  The quality of the headband was stunning and so very comfortable to wear.  That was it, I was hooked - so this week I treated myself to some new scrunchies in gorgeous bright colours to up my pony tail game.  They arrived quickly, beautifully packaged and I love that  Anna & Kate send a personalised note with my order.
So if you are looking to add a pop of joy to your hair please take a look at their website : www.holmeandmoss.com
